Food for reducing dark circles

Dark circles under eyes make you look tired and old, but it seems to be an unavoidable skin problem for women when we get old. Women using cosmetics to cover up their dark circles may finally find it is ineffective one day. Actually, there are some natural ways to prevent and reduce dark circles under eyes and one of them is your diet.

Egg is cheap but it is with high nutrition value especially in protein. The protein in egg is of high quality and is very similar to the proteins that are produced by human bodies. Therefore they are easy to digest and absorb. Protein is an important nutrient for cell generation which may reduce dark circles under eyes. But, one should not eat more than 2 eggs in a day as your body is not able to absorb all the nutrients.

To get rid of dark circles under your eyes, you also need vitamin E as well. Sesame is a good source of vitamin E which is good for both hairs and eyes. The vitamin E nourishes the eyeball and eye muscles and helps reduce dark circles. If you do not like sesame, you can also eat other foods that are rich in vitamin E like walnut, sunflower seed and peanut.

It is well known that carrot is rich in vitamin A and that it is good for your eyes. Vitamin A performs similar function to vitamin E that it nourishes your eye ball and eye muscles. Vitamin A from carrot maintains the functions of human skin and is able to reduce dark circles. Besides, it is essential in the prevention of night blindness.

Dark circles are formed when blood circulation around eye areas is poor and waste accumulates. Therefore, one of the key methods in reducing dark circles under eyes is by improving blood circulation. Iron from seaweed facilitates blood circulation as it is the main component of red blood cells. Red blood cells act as the oxygen and nutrient carries and circulate in our whole bodies.

Green tea has a powerful function is reducing dark circles. You may drink green tea internally or apply cool green tea bags under your eyes externally. Green tea is effective in diminishing dark circles because it contains concentrated polyphenol, catechin, caffeine as well as tannin. Polyphenol is an effective anti-oxidant which prevents skin aging; Catechin increases sleep quality; caffeine and tannin are effective in reducing dark circles when get in touch with skin.
