Tips for preventing and reducing wrinkles

Wrinkles are formed, when the skin looses its elasticity. Regular massaging and facials help to fade fine lines and control wrinkles. To avoid wrinkles be gentle on your skin, it goes a long way in keeping your skin, smooth and supple. The tell-tale marks of age can be prolonged if good care is taken after your skin in your youthful days. Wrinkles when formed becomes very tough to remove and needs lot of effort to minimize them. Wrinkles are caused due to lack of moisture and proteins. If enough protein are taken, your body will use up the stored protein which results in elasticity loss of the skin and the sagging muscles. Body needs lots of fresh water, as well as body and facial exercises to prevent wrinkles . Some common causes for wrinkles on the skin are over exposure to sun , smoking, pollution, stress, weight loss, diet , nutrition, improper skin care and change in lifestyle habits.

Tips For Preventing And Reducing Wrinkles:

  1. The most effective way to diminish premature wrinkles is to massage your face and neck daily with any oil like olive oil. Massage your face in upward motion only.
  2. Laugh lines should be massaged upward over the cheek bones, towards the outer section of the eye.
  3. Massage crow’s feet with upward motion towards the temples,always massage very gently over this area.
  4. Apply Vitamin E and massage at least twice a week on wrinkles, as besides protein Vitamin E also restores moisture if applied externally over the skin. Cut a Vitamin E capsule and mix it’s content with glycerin for better consistency and apply all over face and massage.
  5. Fresh cream mixed with beaten egg white and applied over the face and left for 15 minutes to dry and washed gently with warm water is an effective way to smooth wrinkles.
  6. Fresh cream massaged and left on the face over night is an excellent remedy.
  7. A honey and egg white mask is supposed to nourish even the inner layer of the skin.
  8. An eye compress made with cotton pads soaked in orange juice for thirty minutes helps minimize wrinkles and crow’s feet.
  9. Grated raw potatoes, rolled in a tissue and placed on the wrinkles for 15 minutes and washed with cold water makes a good compress for crow’s feet.
  10. Steaming your face before applying any cream will be very effective.
  11. Proper sleeping habits help skin looking young and fresh.
  12. Mash apples, and use as a facial mask to postpone wrinkles.
  13. Leave metal spoons overnight in the freezer. In the morning when you first wake up, apply the backs of spoons under the eye to reduce under-eye wrinkles.
  14. Soak 5 almonds for a few hours and grind to a smooth paste with some milk apply this pack regularly for wrinkle free soft, fair skin.
  15. B-Complex Vitamins, Vitamins A, C, and E help to promote younger looking skin. Therefore maintaining a healthy diet rich in these Vitamins can help prevent premature wrinkles.
  16. Prepare a cornflour mask using equal quantities of cornflour and honey, apply on the face and remove after 30 minutes.
