Camouflaging Through Makeup

There are a lot of skin problems such as pigmentations, skin irregularities, roughness of skin etc. and can cause pretty serious cosmetic concerns among women and these concerns can be addressed through makeup, which can camouflage these problems and makes the skin look more healthy and natural.

Add Life To Dull Skin:

You can apply color from a tinted powder or bronzer and can apply that gently over the skin of your cheeks, nose, and on the forehead, as well as your chin and this will add a new look to your face.

How To Prevent Applying A Heavy Makeup

It must be noted that when you are applying a concealing makeup, you must keep your hand lighter. It is always better to apply two light coats than applying a one heavy layer of makeup. The places that you need to take care of are the sides of the nose, the sides of the eyes and the inner portion of the eyes connecting with the nose, jaw line, hairline, and just apply the makeup as smoothly as you can.

How To Cover Pigment Marks

Generally the makeup is applied with a finger on the face. There is a difference with use of finger and the cosmetic sponge. With the finger, the dabs are generally harder, whereas with the cosmetic sponge, the dabs are much much lighter and you can spread the amount of cosmetic that you want. You can use makeup brush to reach the areas where it is difficult to spread the makeup with the finger or with the cosmetic sponge such as sides of nose, inner side of the eyes etc. You can dab the area with either the finger or the cosmetic sponge, the way you would like the best the area that is darker and do not try to rub the area, as the makeup that you have applied will be pulled off.

Pigmentation Under The Eyebrow Or Around The Hairline

These are the areas that are mostly overlooked. The best way to camouflage this area is to dab the concealer through the hair until the pigmentation is covered properly. You can then gently pat the powder off of your hair. The pigmentation can be covered that appears under the eyebrow with the same process as you have done to cover the dark marks around the hairline. After that you can also apply an eyebrow liner to cover the rest of the mark that is appearing through the hair so that it can be covered completely.

Pigments Around The Eye

The eye is considered as the most difficult area because of the contours around the eyes, eyelids and the crease. The best way to cover the dark areas around eyes is with a brush and should be done very smoothly as the skin around the eye is very thin. You must select a shade for the area around your eyes that matches your skin. You must remember as to spread the makeup in layers and not rub your finger too hard on the skin as it will take off the makeup that has already been placed in layers.
