Acne does not go away by itself, very often there are natural remedies that you must try, or in case that those don’t work, you must go to a trusted dermatologist to find out what you can do for acne and skin care.

For instance, if you have acne scars which have been left behind by the now-healed acne, you can go for collagen injections.

Collagen is a part of natural human tissues, and when it is injected under the skin, it is easily accepted by the body.

This levels the skin and gives it a more even appearance, thus this will remove your scars.

However, you need to remove that collagen tends to break down with time, so if you want to keep the appearance like that constantly, you would need to get the injections periodically.

There are also other treatments that you could go for, like dermabrasion and microdermabrasion – both of which involve removing the upper layer of the skin (the epidermis) and letting it heal naturally. There is also punch excision – another surgical method which is used for deep boxcar and ice-pick scars. This is done with local anesthesia.

So what kind of treatment should you go for, for acne and skin care? Well, there are various methods of removal, and don’t think that you should always go for doctor-recommended methods. Often you can rely on natural remedies like rubbing a slice of lemon or some aloe vera gel on the affected area – these methods do work wonders in relieving you of your acne problem. It is important that you try some natural remedies or even some medicated creams first, before going in for minor surgeries like the ones mentioned above.
