Stay fresh for longer

If you don't want to spend a fortune on toiletries and would rather not buy the bath gels and talcs, then after shower, spray rose water in your underarms, followed by your perfume. Rose water not only helps in holding the fragrance to your body, it also adds its own mild fragrance, making you feel fresh and fragrant longer.

Perfume
Fragrance wardrobe
Louis XV, the king of France (1710-1774), insisted that his courtiers wear a different perfume for each day of the week since he held that wearing the same scent every day was not good for their aesthetical sense!

Lavender
While you don't need seven different smells to pull you through, it is a good idea to include an Oriental smell, a floral, and a citrus-fruity smell as part of your fragrance wardrobe.

Also remember, winters call for deeper notes, such as vanilla, sandalwood and lavender. In summer, scents of flowers, lemons and bergamot are good choices.
