The power of a good hair day

You would be forgiven for thinking it's 2001 when you see a fresh faced Preity Zinta with the same wet curls she had as Shalini in Dil Chahta Haiand Jennifer Aniston sporting a bob she wore as Rachel in the sitcomFriends. Preity wore her new hair a few days ago to the launch of Spanish label Adolfo Dominguez in the Capital and Jennifer unveiled her new look in Spain a couple of days ago during the ongoing promotional trip for her movie, Just Go With It. Both the appearances could not have been better timed. Preity, 36, has lately been busy combating detractors who argue she's out-of-luck both personally and professionally.

Jennifer, 42, has had to fight the 'single and unlucky in love' tag for over a decade now.

The one thing, however, that's always come to her rescue (much like Preity) is her sartorial versatility.

But, during this particular promotional trail, she was continuously being upstaged by 23- yearold Sports Illustrated model, Brooklyn Decker. Jen's comeback? A short, crisp and rather smooth bob.

A woman's hair is definitely her biggest weapon. Whether it's a heartbreak, mid- life crisis, a good phase or a new man - you can tell what's brewing inside that head by looking at how the hair on it is styled.
